Gigi Hadid asks fans not to be so judgemental after Zayn Malik date
Gigi Hadid has pleaded with fans not to be "judgemental" after pictures emerged of her holding hands with Zayn Malik.
The 20-year-old model was photographed leaving West Hollywood nightspot The Nice Guy with Zayn on Sunday night (29Nov15), prompting a gossip frenzy on the back of rumors the two stars were dating.
Following the publication of the pictures, Gigi's ex-boyfriend Joe
Jonas unfollowed the pretty blonde on Instagram, and deleted an
image of himself with Zayn at a fashion show earlier this year
(15), suggesting he was far from happy about the new romance.
Gigi then took to her own Twitter page to address the rumors for
the first time, although she was careful not to directly refer to
Zayn or Joe.
"There's just no need to be judgmental about situations that are
not your own," she tweeted. "Let live."
"I've found the only way to happiness is by living as though the
microscope isn't there. If there was a real way to sit with each
one of you and tell you my side of things, I would. But there's
not, so I won't."
Gigi quickly deleted the messages, and replaced them by writing:
"Sometimes life just happens... For whatever reason in whatever
timing. And sometimes it doesn't make sense til it does. That's
it."
A seemingly indecisive Gigi then opted to delete that post too, and
instead shared a picture of a beach scene with the word "Chill"
written in capital letters above it.
Gigi was first linked to Zayn earlier this month (Nov15) after
Justin Bieber's American Music Awards party. They have since been
seen together on a number of occasions and Zayn caused something of
an internet frenzy last week when he posted an Instagram shot,
which appeared to show him wearing Gigi's glasses.
However, the hand holding pictures were the first confirmation that
Zayn and Gigi were involved in a romance.
The relationship between the singer and catwalk model comes just
weeks after Gigi split from Joe, and months after Zayn split from
Little Mix fiancée Perrie Edwards.
