George Clooney's ex weds in Mexico

George Clooney's ex-girlfriend Stacey Keibler has married her entrepreneur boyfriend in Mexico.

The wrestler-turned-TV personality exchanged vows with Jared Pobre in an intimate beach ceremony on Saturday evening (08Mar14), less than a year after splitting from Clooney after a lengthy romance.

Keibler tells People.com, "My happiness is indescribable! Marriage is the ultimate bond of love and friendship. It means putting all your faith and trust into a person that you can't help but believe is your soul mate. Someone who has all of your best interests at heart; someone handpicked for you, to help you grow and be the best person that you can be. Jared is all of this for me."

Meanwhile, a statement from the couple reads: "We both felt strongly that our 'love day' should be intimately special, and that's exactly what it was. It was a blend of romance, tranquility (sic), natural beauty, bonding and overwhelming love."

The wedding news will be a surprise for many, but the 34 year old and Pobre, the CEO of interactive firm Future Ads, have been pals for years and their friendship blossomed into love last year (13).
