Foo Fighters to perform on cruise ship ahead of Super Bowl

The Foo Fighters are set to make waves ahead of the Super Bowl next year (14) by performing on a cruise ship docked on New York City's Hudson River.

The Best of You rockers will take to the stage aboard the unique venue on 1 February (14), just one day before football's biggest game of the season.

The Foo Fighters, along with special guests the Zac Brown Band, will perform on the liner, docked just across from the Bud Light Hotel, which will serve as the main hub for the weekend's star-studded concerts and parties.

Hip-hop group The Roots will take over the ship with Run D.M.C. and Busta Rhymes on 30 January (14), and Radioactive hitmakers Imagine Dragons will also perform.

The weekend will end with the Super Bowl on 2 February (14) at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, where Bruno Mars will serve as the half-time performer.
