Fifth Harmony's Dinah Jane Hansen mourning the loss of her great-grandmother

Fifth Harmony's Dinah Jane Hansen is reportedly mourning the loss of her great-grandmother.

Hansen's mother took to Instagram.com on Wednesday (29Apr15) to post a video of the Fifth Harmony singer serenading her great-grandmother in the hospital.

She wrote, "My grandmother Sepi is dying.. It's just a matter of time. But I am so thankful that we were able to have her for the last 80 years!

"She is the heart of our family! A loving, hard working, and a giving person. She has a heart of gold and a smile that will light up a room! We love you so much grandma."

Following Hansen's mum's message, the singer thanked fans for their support and appeared to confirm the passing of her great-grandmother.

In a message posted on Twitter.com, she wrote, "wow ..thank you for being so sweet .. I appreciate you all SO MUCH... I love you & (and) my grandma loved you guys too."
