Eve is helping disadvantaged young Americans by throwing her support behind a youth mentoring scheme.
The Rich Girl rapper will raise awareness of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and the organisation's inaugural National Mentoring Month by debuting her new single, Make It On Our Own, at a party hosted by the charity later this month (22Jan13).
Eve will perform during the bash at the Marriott Mayflower
Renaissance hotel in Washington, D.C., while Miss America 2012
Laura Kaeppeler and former Super Bowl football champion Darrin
Smith will also attend the star-studded evening.
The organisation pairs adult volunteers with at-risk kids to
provide stability in their lives.
