Eva Mendes gives birth in secret - report

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling appear to have pulled off a major coup by having a child in secret.

A birth certificate obtained by TMZ suggests the couple became parents again last month (29Apr16), when little Amada Lee Gosling was born at Providence St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California.

Eva De La Caridad Mendez is listed as the newborn's mom and Ryan Thomas Gosling the father.

Rumors of a pregnancy started swirling in February (16) after the actress was spotted trying to hide what looked like a baby bump during a photo shoot in Los Angeles, but neither star commented on the reports.

The couple's first child, Esmeralda Amada, is 20 months old.

Amada is the name of Eva's grandmother, according to TMZ.

Mendes and Gosling have been an item since meeting on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines in 2011.

Representatives for Eva and Ryan have yet to confirm the baby news, which comes almost a month after Eva lost her older brother Juan Carlos Mendez, to cancer. He died on 17 April (16), almost two years after he was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2014.

The actress shared a touching photo with her ailing brother at a Stand Up to Cancer benefit event in January, 2015, on social media. In the picture, Eva has her arm around Juan Carlos and she simply captioned the sweet snap with a heart emoji.
