Erika Christensen welcomes her first child

Actress Erika Christensen has reportedly welcomed a baby girl after giving birth on Tuesday (21Jun16).

Editors at People.com have confirmed the Parenthood star and cyclist husband Cole Maness are now proud parents to daughter Shane Maness, who was born at the couple's California home.

Baby Shane, the couple's first child, weighed in at 6 lbs. 3 ounces.

The 33-year-old actress updated fans on Shane's impending arrival on Tuesday (21Jun) evening, when she shared on Twitter: “I’m in labor. Right now”, before she gave birth later that night.

Erika revealed the news of her pregnancy via Twitter in March by captioning a photo of her puppy with, “This boy is getting a little sister. A human sister.”

The former Swimfan star debuted her growing baby bump at the Los Angeles premiere of her TV movie Confirmation.

The actress has been in a relationship with Cole since 2012, and they tied the knot in Palm Springs, California last September (15).
