Actress Eliza Dushku delighted a group of young campers in New Hampshire this week (begs27Aug12) by joining them for a series of outdoor adventures.
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star has long been campaigning to persuade organisers of all-boys summer camps like those at Camp Hale in Center Sandwich to allow girls to join in the fun, and she showed up at the venue on Monday (27Aug12) to help United South End Settlements officials launch its inaugural session for girls.
The all-girls outdoor event, during which Dushku and the kids
learned how to safely tip a canoe, was the first in Camp Hale's
112-year history.
