Eiza Gonzalez wants to keep 'personal life private' amid new romance reports

Actress Eiza Gonzalez is refusing to talk about her rumored new romance with DJ Calvin Harris, because she wants to keep her "personal life private".

The From Dusk Till Dawn star hit headlines over the weekend (03Sep16) after she was photographed arm-in-arm with Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend as they left a party together in Los Angeles.

Insiders told People.com they pair is in the very early stages of a relationship, but Eiza isn't about to confirm the news.

When asked by a Variety Latino reporter about the weekend snaps, she said she had "nothing" to say about being seen out with Harris or the rumors they've started dating.

In fact, the 26-year-old has told journalists she is refraining from commenting on any personal matters outside of acting thanks to the advice from her Baby Driver co-star Kevin Spacey.

"I want to keep my personal life private," she told the publication. "I once heard Kevin Spacey say something that really resonated with me. He said, 'If people know too much about me, then when they see the characters I play, they'll only see Kevin. I want them to see the characters I'm bringing to life'."

Eiza's previous attempts to keep a low profile with her male suitors hasn't proven to be successful - in 2013, she hit headlines after she was snapped kissing actor Liam Hemsworth just a day after it was revealed he and Miley Cyrus had called off their engagement. She has also been linked to Portuguese soccer stud Cristiano Ronaldo.

Meanwhile, Calvin, who split from Taylor in late May (16), was reportedly "casually" dating collaborator Tinashe after they were spotted hanging out on numerous occasions in Los Angeles in July (16), but the R&B singer played down the relationship rumors last month (Aug16), telling E! News, "I'm still definitely single."
