Ed Westwick denies second rape allegation
Ed Westwick has denied allegations he raped a second woman in 2014.
Former actress Aurelie Wynn accused the former Gossip Girl star of raping her in a lengthy and detailed Facebook post on Wednesday (08Nov17), claiming the sexual assault took place when she was asleep at his home with a friend and Westwick entered her bedroom.
"I said no (to sex) and he pushed me face down and I was powerless under his weight," she wrote on the social media site. "I was wearing a one piece bathing suit that he ripped, I was in complete shock..."
Wynn alleged she left the home while Westwick was "passed out" and told her boyfriend at the time, actor Mark Salling, about the incident. She claimed the former Glee star acted like he didn't know Ed, blamed her for the alleged rape, and broke up with her.
Wynn explained she came forward with her allegations after another actress, Kristina Cohen, claimed Westwick had also forced himself on her while she slept.
On Tuesday (07Nov17), Westwick denied Cohen's allegations and he has now responded to Wynn's, while revealing he has been working with Los Angeles Police Department authorities, who are investigating Cohen's allegations. It is unclear if they are looking into Wynn's.
"It is disheartening and sad to me that as a result of two unverified and probably untrue social media claims, there are some in this environment who could ever conclude that I have had anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct," he writes in a post on Instagram. "I have absolutely not, and I am cooperating with the authorities so that they can clear my name as soon as possible."
Cohen filed a police report with the LAPD shortly after making her claims against the actor earlier this week.
Meanwhile, Wynn's ex Salling hit headlines last month (Oct17) after pleading guilty to child pornography charges.
