Ed Sheeran disappointed by Grammys ticket snub

British singer Ed Sheeran will be going to the Grammy Awards on his own because organisers wouldn't let him take his family.

The pop star is nominated for the Song of the Year honor for his hit track The A Team and he will also be performing with Sir Elton John during the show in Los Angeles next Sunday (10Feb13).

He wanted to take his relatives along to share his big night, but admits he has to attend on his own because of the strict ticketing policy.

Sheeran says, "I'm going to be at the Grammys but I only got one ticket. I wanted to take my whole family. I'm just one person so I'm going to be there on my own."
