Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery engaged - report

Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery is reportedly engaged to marry her boyfriend of almost two years.

The British actress is allegedly preparing to exchange vows with public relations expert John Dineen after he popped the question, according to Britain's Sun on Sunday newspaper.

A source tells the publication Dockery proudly showed off her engagement ring at a recent script read-through session, adding, "She looked over the moon and was showing it off to all the cast and crew. It's wonderful news and everyone is delighted. She and John make a lovely couple... Michelle is happier now than she's ever been. She knows that this relationship is for keeps and she is so excited."

Dockery and Dineen have been dating since 2013 after being introduced by the actress' co-star Allen Leech.
