Donald Faison celebrates hit new film with baby boy

Actor Donald Faison has two big reasons to celebrate this weekend - his new movie Kick-Ass 2 is already a box office hit and he's a new dad.

The former Scrubs star's wife CaCee Cobb gave birth to the couple's first child together on Thursday (15Aug13), and Faison tweeted the happy news to his followers on Friday.

He wrote, "Yesterday @caceecobb and I welcomed the most amazing little boy into our lives! Oh Happy Day!!"

Cobb, who is new mum Jessica Simpson's longtime best friend, retweeted his message with the addition, "The happiest day of my life".

This is the first child for Cobb, but Faison, 38, is a dad to four kids from previous relationships.

The couple wed in December (12) and Cobb revealed she was pregnant a month later.
