DJ Khaled gifts one-year-old son diamond-studded watch for first birthday

Dj Khaled celebrated his son's first birthday by gifting the tot a diamond-studded watch worth a reported $100,000 at his lavish nightclub party in Miami, Florida.

The All I Do Is Win hitmaker turned celebrity hotspot LIV into a kids' playground on Saturday (21Oct17) to mark little Asahd's big day with a daytime bash hosted by rap mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

He filled the venue with greenery, real tigers, and dancers who dressed up as jungle animals, while young attendees had the opportunity to take mini toy automobiles for a test drive at the "baby valet" station, and have their pictures taken in a jungle-themed photo booth.

Guests included rapper Fat Joe's wife Lorena Cartagena and their daughter, and model Karolina Kurkova, who all danced the day away alongside Khaled and young Asahd, who donned matching blue and green patterned shirts and light blue pants.

The birthday boy even got to wear a gold crown and sit on a mini gold throne, and was presented with a tiered cake covered in photos of the tot from his eventful first year, during which he was credited as an executive producer on his dad's album Grateful, and graced the red carpets at top prizegivings including the MTV Movie and TV Awards, the BET Hip Hop Awards, and the MTV Video Music Awards.

Khaled and his fiancee Nicole Tuck had worked with officials at luxury publication Haute Living to sponsor the bash, and also commissioned them to have a pricey watch personalized for Asahd.

According to TMZ.com, the rose gold Franck Muller timepiece boasts more than 600 diamonds, weighing in at 11.65 carats, and costing just over $100,000. It also has Asahd's name and birth date engraved on the back.

Hip-hop star Khaled has since shared photos and video footage from Asahd's extravagant party on Instagram, and posted a sweet message to his baby boy on Monday (23Oct17), when he officially turned one.

"@asahdkhaled THE (king)!! HAPPY BDAY !!," the producer wrote. "I love you I'm am so proud of you !!!!!! Thank you for being my son ! THANK YOU GOD (sic)!"
