DJ Afrojack hospitalised after stage fall

Producer/DJ Afrojack was hospitalised in Miami, Florida this week (ends30Mar14) after falling off the stage at an event.

Video footage obtained by TMZ.com shows the star spraying the crowd with Champagne at the Dim Mak Miami Beach Party with electro star Steve Aoki on Wednesday (26Mar14) before falling face-first onto the concrete floor.

Afrojack told fans about the incident in a post on his Twitter.com page on Thursday (27Mar14) and later revealed he was admitted to hospital for a check-up.

He writes, "Miami Anyone remember me falling down last night at Steve Aoki's pool party? For real! Another crazy party week in Miami!...Now omw (on my way) to the hospital to prevent an early end to this weekend."

He later assured fans he was not seriously unwell, adding, "I'm OK, dehydrated and overworked, guess I got a little too excited."
