Diane Kruger and Garrett Hedlund not dating

Garrett Hedlund's representative has dismissed rumours he is dating Diane Kruger, insisting they are just friends.

The German beauty called it quits with Joshua Jackson, her boyfriend of 10 years, in July (16), and on Monday night (12Sep16), she stepped out for a few drinks with Garrett in New York City.

The outing sparked rumours suggesting the two were dating, but his representative tells GossipCop.com, "They have been friends for years since they filmed Troy."

"(The reports are) not true," a source adds.

Garrett split from actress Kirsten Dunst earlier this year (16) after four years of dating. She has reportedly moved on from the relationship with her Fargo co-star Jesse Plemons.

Meanwhile, Ruth Wilson has hit out against reports claiming she has embarked on a new romance with Diane's ex-boyfriend Joshua after they were photographed together at Gemma Restaurant in New York last month (Aug16).

"It's boring gossip," she told Vanity Fair magazine. "You can tell from that photo that we're friends. I just sort of go, 'All right, well, whatever, I have to keep answering'.

"If you want an answer about whether we're dating or not, no is the absolute truth," she continued.
