Demi Lovato stuns gay fans with bar gig, signs new modeling deal
Demi Lovato thrilled revelers at a gay bar in New York City on Thursday night (15Oct15) when she performed a surprise rendition of her new song Confident.
The sexy Latina hit the stage at the Industry Bar after her pal Nick Jonas introduced her to thrilled gay fans, who knew the song so well many sang along.
Ironically, Jonas has played a gay man on TV in new shows Kingdom
and Scream Queens.
Meanwhile, Lovato is in New York celebrating a major new deal with
Wilhelmina Models. The Skyscraper singer will join Jonas and Orange
is the New Black star Ruby Rose on the company's roster of actors
and singers-turned-models.
A spokesman for the agency says, "We will aim to continue raising
Demi’s already sophisticated profile by securing modeling and
endorsement deals in the fashion and beauty arenas, as well as
seeking out editorial opportunities."
"I'm thrilled to sign my first major modeling contract with
Wilhelmina," the 23 year old adds, "I’m very excited to see where
our work together will go creatively as I enter the next phase of
my career and continue to develop as an artist."
