Demi Lovato 'splits from Wilmer Valderrama'

Demi Lovato is a single woman again after reportedly splitting from actor Wilmer Valderrama.

The stars never publicly confirmed their romance, but were caught on camera kissing in November (11) following weeks of speculation about their relationship.

However, it seems the union is over - insiders tells E! Online the 12-year age-gap proved too much for the couple.

Demi Lovato, 19, took to her Twitter.com page on Tuesday (10Jan12) to post a string of messages relating to men issues.

She 're-tweeted' a Marilyn Monroe quotation reading, "A wise girl kisses but doesn't love, listens but doesn't believe, and leaves before she is left", before adding: "The smartest thing a woman can ever learn, is to never need a man."

Demi Lovato has previously dated pop star Joe Jonas.
