Demi Lovato blasts news blog for ridiculing Wilmer Valderrama

Singer/actress Demi Lovato has slammed editors of a news and entertainment blog after they published an unflattering article about her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.

The Skyscraper hitmaker flew into a rage early on Thursday (10Apr14) after reading TheDailyBeast.com's piece, in which the writer ridiculed Valderrama for everything from his career to his fashion sense, and questioned his ability to date sexy stars like Mandy Moore, Minka Kelly and Ashlee Simpson.

The blogger went on to reference Lovato and her recent nude photo scandal, suggesting the former That '70s Show actor was responsible for leaking the naked snaps, which surfaced online last weekend (05Apr14).

The writer claimed Valderrama is now "so culturally irrelevant he relies on the commodification of his young girlfriend's body in order to re-enter the current celebrity conversation".

The harsh words prompted Lovato to jump to her boyfriend's defense, and in an angry Twitter.com post, she rants, "@thedailybeast such a classy 'news site' you are. Writing horrible things about people you know NOTHING about. Get a LIFE you ignorant f**ks."

Lovato has not commented directly on the naked photo controversy, which also featured shots of her in bed with Valderrama, but she tweeted a defiant message on Saturday (05Apr14), stating, "Soy fuerte. Soy luchadora. Asi que no me subestimen", which translates as, "I am strong. I am a fighter. So do not underestimate me."
