David Blaine makes Rihanna gig magical for stars

Superstar magician David Blaine turned Rihanna's New York concert into a magic show for a select group of celebrities.

Stars including Jaden Smith, John Mayer, Naomi Campbell, Hailey Baldwin and Irina Shayk attended the Work singer's concert on Sunday (27Mar16) at the Barclays Center, but were left at a loose end while they waited for Rihanna to arrive on stage after support act Travis Scott had completed his set.

Those who were in the Brooklyn venue's D'Usse VIP area were treated to a performance from David, who found fame in the 1990s with his outlandish tricks and extreme stunts.

According to the New York Post's Page Six, Jaden, Hailey, John and fashion designer Riccardo Tisci enjoyed the acclaimed conjurer's magical interlude, before watching Rihanna launch into her set.

One famous name who particularly seemed to have a particularly good time dancing along to the music and moves of the Barbadian superstar was Irina Shayk.

Bradley Cooper's Russian model girlfriend was pictured waving her arms extravagantly and dancing enthusiastically as Rihanna romped through her hits.

After the gig, Rihanna continued the party with a number of celebrities including Naomi and R&B singer Maxwell at the city's 10OAK nightclub.

The North American leg of Rihanna's Anti world tour continues with another concert at the Barclays Center on Tuesday (30Mar16).
