David Beckham's grandmother dies

Retired sports star David Beckham is mourning the death of his grandmother.
The British soccer icon's maternal grandma Peggy suffered a stroke and died on Friday (08Nov13).
The 83 year old, mom of Beckham's mother Sandra, had been living in
a nursing home in London for the last two years.
A source tells Britain's The People newspaper, "Peggy was suffering
from a long illness, she'd had a stroke and was in hospital. She
was on a life support machine but sadly she died in the early hours
of Friday morning. David is really upset, he was extremely close to
(her). He would speak to Peggy lots... The whole family is grieving
for a wonderful woman right now."
Peggy's husband Joseph died in 2009.
