Oscar-winning actor Daniel Day-Lewis donned a traditional cap and gown as he was presented with an honorary degree from Juilliard School on Friday (24May13).
The Lincoln star received the accolade during a ceremony at the famed music and drama institution in New York City and made an inspiring speech to students as he collected the honor.
Laura Linney received one of the school's honorary degrees back in
2009 was also on hand in her cap and gown to address the graduating
class of 2013.
