Country star Eric Paslay set to wed old pal

Country music star Eric Paslay ended 2014 by asking his girlfriend to be his wife.

The Friday Night singer has revealed he proposed to Natalie Harker on 30 December (14), after two years of dating.

Paslay met his fiancee almost a decade ago when she was working at his former publishing company, but they didn't become lovers for years.

He tells People.com, "She was the one that got a bunch of my songs cut... We've got a bunch of fun memories together. I keep joking, 'I guess I have to keep her'. I'd be a fool to let her go."

Paslay tells The Tennesseean that he hopes to wed in the spring, adding, "She's already got the venue and a dress and all kinds of stuff. She's on it. She's pretty organized, so that's good."
