Cory Monteith's death brings the Glee cast closer together

Cory Monteith's death last month (Jul13) has brought the Glee cast closer than ever, according to Jane Lynch.

The tragic actor's TV co-stars, including real-life girlfriend Lea Michele, are still in mourning following his overdose death in a Vancouver, Canada hotel room, but Lynch admits the shared grief has made them a very close-knit unit.

She tells Life & Style magazine, "Everyone has gotten really close. We had a great memorial, we had a very private memorial with just the cast and the crew... a fitting tribute to such a wonderful guy. I think that really helped us to start working on this season.

"We miss him very much and there's a big empty trailer that we walk by every day. It's sad, but the wheels keep turning and you just do your job."
