Cops shut down Chiddy Bang gig

Cops jumped on stage to halt rapper Chiddy Bang's gig in South Carolina on Friday night (24Oct14) after trouble broke out in the audience.

The hip-hop star, previously part of a rap duo by the same name, was performing for students at Clemson University when the crowd became unruly.

Editors at TMZ.com report the trouble was started by an audience member who threw a water bottle which hit a woman onstage.

A video posted on the website shows police officers escorting the rapper off stage shortly before the gig was halted.
