Colin Farrell in talks to star in True Detective
Actor Colin Farrell is reportedly negotiating his return to TV to star in the second season of hit crime drama True Detective.
Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson played troubled police detectives trying to solve a 17-year-old murder case in the 2014 anthology series.
A new set of actors are due to take over the lead roles for season
two and now Total Recall star Farrell has become the latest name to
be linked to a part. Lone Survivor actor Taylor Kitsch is also
being considered, according to TheWrap.com.
Farrell last appeared on the small screen in a 2005 appearance on
TV series Scrubs, while he also had a major TV role in BBC drama
series Ballykissangel in the late 1990s.
Christian Bale and Jessica Chastain were previously linked to roles
in True Detective, but they have since denied they are involved
with the project.
