Ciara: 'New song is about real cheater'

Singer Ciara has confirmed her new song about a cheating ex-boyfriend is based on a real life romance that turned sour.

The Goodies star, who split from rapper Future just months after she gave birth to their first child last year (14), has refused to confirm the identity of the mystery lover mentioned in I Bet, but she has assured fans the song was written from experience.

She tells the New York Daily News, "The song is definitely inspired by my real life experience. When you believe in yourself and you always give 100 per cent in a relationship, you're very confident in the value of your love. But for some people, there's that feeling that the grass is always greener... I don't believe in being vengeful, or trying to send a message. You waste your energy that way. But I am confident."
