Christina Milian rescues baby opossums

R&B singer Christina Milian has taken in three baby opossums after their mother was run over by a car.

The AM to PM hitmaker posted a video on her Instagram.com account of the baby creatures, which are commonly confused with their native Australian cousin, the possum.

She had put them in a cushioned box under a heat lamp at her home, where she will play mother to them until she takes them to a care centre.

In a post alongside the clip, she writes, "Just saved these 3 little hairy creatures... Found them in the street with their poor Mommy possum run over. I couldn't leave them... we'll take them to wildlife rescue tomorrow... For now hear (heat) lamp and evaporated milk... They're kinda cute when they're little..."
