Christina Milian: 'Lil Wayne is my man crush everything'
Pop star Christina Milian has finally confessed she and rapper Lil Wayne are more than just music collaborators, insisting he is her "man crush everything".
The Dip It Low hitmaker was first rumored to have struck up a romance with her Young Money Entertainment boss last year (14), when they attended the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles together.
At the time, Milian brushed off the dating speculation, claiming
they just "make music together", but they have continued to fuel
reports of a relationship by putting on a steamy performance at the
American Music Awards in November (14) and enjoying nights out
together on numerous occasions.
Now Milian has coyly admitted their relationship has progressed to
beyond friendship.
She was quizzed about the rumors during an interview with talk show
host Wendy Williams on Thursday (15Jan15), and stopped short of
stating she and Wayne are a couple outright, but declared, "He's my
man crush everything..."
Asked if they sleep together at night, she dodged the question by
replying, "We're in the studio late at night and at the skate
park..."
Her evasive comments led Williams to determine Wayne is not her
"full boyfriend", prompting Milian to pull a sour face and quip,
"Well, I mean, girl, don't put it out like that! I'm just saying...
We have great chemistry and we have really great involvement in
each others' lives."
And Milian, who is currently starring in her own family reality
show, reveals she has been shy about discussing their budding
relationship in public and on air, because she wants to keep some
things private.
She continued, "I did want to protect that (relationship) as
well... I think sometimes if you just give it all out to the
world... It's sexy to have a sense of mystique..."
Milian broke off her engagement to music mogul Jas Prince in June
(14), weeks before she was linked to Wayne.
She was also previously married to producer The-Dream, the father
of her young daughter, Violet.
