Chance the Rapper makes surprise appearance at Lollapalooza

Chance The Rapper delighted fans at the Lollapalooza festival on Thursday (28Jul16) when he made an unexpected cameo during Flosstradamus' closing set.

The hip-hop star is not featured among the line-up for the annual music festival in his hometown of Chicago but he still showed up to rap with the musical duo.

He delivered a performance of his hit No Problem before bringing out even more surprise guests, including Destiny's Child star Michelle Williams, actress Gabrielle Union and her basketball star husband Dwyane Wade, who recently signed on to play for the Chicago Bulls.

Chance also sang his track Summer Friends, and during the performance, he paused to savour the experience in front of his hometown crowd, saying, "Oh yeah, this is definitely a moment right now."

The rapper recently announced his own music festival, the Magnificent Coloring Day, inspired by his recent Coloring Book album.

The event on 24 September (16) is set to also feature Lil Wayne, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Skrillex, and Tyler, The Creator.
