Chance The Rapper is urging female fans to educate themselves about the different types of breast cancer after losing his aunt to an aggressive form of the disease.

The No Problem hitmaker took to social media on Tuesday (09May17) to share his heartache, two days after Kimberly Bennett's passing.

"My Auntie Kim lost her battle with Breast Cancer early Sunday morning," he wrote, alongside a video clip of his relative discussing her health battle for the Inflammatory Breast Cancer Foundation.

"She was a warrior and wanted me to share this," he continued. "Inflammatory Breast Cancer is commonly misdiagnosed and doesn't come with the same symptoms (as other forms of breast cancer)".

In the YouTube clip, filmed in February (17), Kim explained that unlike other types of breast cancer, she did not find a lump, and was instead diagnosed after noticing one of her breasts had changed in skin color.

She soon learned the disease had progressed to stage four cancer, and she fought for a year before succumbing to the illness.
