Chad Michael Murray's wife pregnant with baby number two

Actor Chad Michael Murray is set to be a dad again.

The former One Tree Hill star and his wife, Sarah Roemer, are expecting their second child together.

The couple first became parents last year (15) when Disturbia actress Roemer, who was once linked to Drew Barrymore's ex Will Kopelman, gave birth to a baby boy, whose name still hasn't been revealed.

Murray took to Twitter to share the happy baby news with his followers back in May, 2015, writing, "We've been blessed with a son. Sarah & I couldn't be happier."

He started dating Roemer in 2014, weeks after splitting from the couple's Chosen castmate Nicky Whelan, and they wed in secret in January, 2015.

Murray was previously married to his One Tree Hill co-star Sophia Bush in 2005, but they split after just five months as husband and wife. Their divorce was finalized in 2006.

A representative for Chad has confirmed the latest baby news a month after Roemer shared an Instagram snap of herself sporting what looked like a tiny baby bump.

The big reveal will put a smile back on Chad's face after losing his beloved dog in August, 2015.

Murray posted a collage of shots of his best friend on social media just after his death and added the caption: "My best bud & 1st born son Joe, Thank you for everything you've ever done for me. You've been my kindred spirit, my unconditional friend. Thank you for carrying the weight that I could not. You taught me more about selflessness and compassion than I thought a dog could know. Thank you for always keeping the status Quo. Even the dogs at the dog park thank you for keeping the peace."

He added: "This family won't be the same without you but so much stronger because of you. Rest in peace Joey. We Love You, Chad, Sarah & Baby Murray."
