Cee Lo Green's festival fee withheld over short set

Promoters of a music event are refusing to pay singer Cee Lo Green his full performance fee because his set was shorter than agreed.

The Forget You hitmaker was booked for a slot at the Riverfest event in Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday (24May14) and reportedly agreed to play a 75-minute set after receiving half of his fee up-front.

However, Riverfest board member Cheddy Wigginton tells editors at TMZ.com that Green's time on stage was only around 40 minutes and they are now refusing to pay him the remaining balance of his fee.

Wigginton says the organisation will not attempt to recoup any of the deposit they paid.

Representatives for Green had not responded to requests for a comment as WENN went to press.
