Carrie Underwood has strict hygiene rules on tour
Carrie Underwood implements a strict hygiene routine among her crew on tour to stop herself falling sick on the road.
The singer encourages all the workers to wash their hands more often than normal to banish bugs, and she also insists on healthy food at gig venues to keep her in top condition.
She tells Britain's Daily Star newspaper, "It comes down to trying
to be smart about everything. We wash our hands quite a bit to make
sure no one gets sick. There's lots of healthy food options
everywhere we go... I like to do two to three shows in a row and
then I'll take a day off - three is my absolute limit."
Underwood also reveals the only real health problem she faces on
tour is a lack of sleep because she struggles to doze off after
coming off stage: "Sometimes I find it hard to sleep after shows
because I've been in an arena with people screaming. It's so loud
and there's so much energy coming at me, and then I get on my bus
where it's just me and it's quiet. It takes a while to come down so
I can go to sleep."
