Carly Rae Jepsen revamps Full House theme tune for spin-off
Pop star Carly Rae Jepsen is putting her own spin on the original Full House theme song for the upcoming series reboot.
The Call Me Maybe singer reveals she recently headed into the studio with revered producer Butch Walker to update Everywhere You Look, which was originally written and performed by Jesse Frederick.
"Butch Walker and I re-did the theme song for @FullerHouse together
and I can't wait for you to hear it!", Carly writes on
Twitter.com.
Fuller House, a spin-off of the hit 1990s family sitcom, will debut
on online streaming service Netflix on 26 February (16).
Former child star Candace Cameron-Bure will reprise her role as
D.J. Tanner for the new series, which will focus on her life as a
recently-widowed mother-of-three. Bob Saget will return as her
onscreen dad, while fellow original castmembers John Stamos, Dave
Coulier, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber will also make
appearances.
Full House ran for eight seasons from 1987 to 1995. It also
launched the careers of twin actresses Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen,
who have turned down the chance to return for the spin-off.
