Carly Rae Jepsen gig cancelled after rainstorm

Carly Rae Jepsen was forced to axe her set at an outdoor concert in Massachusetts on Sunday (02Jun13) due to heavy rain.

The Call Me Maybe hitmaker was set to headline the Summer Kick Off Concert at Six Flags New England amusement park in Agawam, along with British pop acts Cher Lloyd and Little Mix.

Chris Wallace and Kat Graham managed to perform their early slots, but the event was called off when a storm broke.

Carly Rae Jepsen took to her Twitter.com page to apologize to fans, writing, "Thunder storm just hit... Booooo! Show cancelled... See you next time New England," while pop rockers Hot Chelle Rae added, "So sorry everyone! We're BUMMED that the show got cancelled. Promise we'll be back through here as always. Next time we'll sing extra loud."
