Carly Rae Jepsen dominates second night of Juno Awards
Singer Carly Rae Jepsen continued to dominate the Juno Awards in her native Canada on Sunday (21Apr13) when she won the prizegiving's biggest accolade, Album of the Year.
The pop star had already outshone her mentor Justin Bieber at the Juno Awards gala dinner on Saturday (20Apr13) when a handful of prizes were given out, including Pop Album of the Year for Jepsen's Kiss.
She added to her haul on Sunday during the live Junos broadcast
when she picked up Album of the Year and Single Of The Year for her
catchy track Call Me Maybe.
Bieber didn't completely miss out as he landed the Fan Choice
Award, but the 19-year-old star is currently on tour in Europe and
could not attend the show.
Other major awards handed out during Sunday's finale included
International Album Of The Year, which went to British folk rockers
Mumford & Sons.
The ceremony was hosted by crooner Michael Buble in Toronto.
