Cardi B confused by Beyonce collaboration speculation

Rapper Cardi B is confused by rumors surrounding a potential collaboration with Beyonce, insisting she does know the engineer who leaked the news.

Michael Ashby, who goes by the name Ashby The Mix Engineer, sent fans into frenzy after posting a picture of his computer screen on his Instagram Story timeline last week (22Oct17), showing a mixing program with a file titled, "Cardi B ft Beyonce Demo".

He captioned the image: "Wow this feature is big", although he didn't share any further details about the project.

After his reveal, Ashby apologized for ruining a big musical surprise, and now the Bodak Yellow hitmaker is speaking out, insisting she has never met Ashby.

"I don't know that man. I don't know him!" she tells Billboard. "I don't even know why people are making those speculations. I don't know that man."

However, she is also not confirming or denying if there is a song in the works with the Drunk in Love hitmaker.
