Cara Delevingne debuts snake inking tattooed by pal Amber Heard

Cara Delevingne has added a snake design tattooed by Amber Heard to her growing collection of inkings.

The model-turned-actress had the serpent inked on to her left hand during a visit to the Shamrock Social Club tattoo shop in West Hollywood over the weekend (05-06Nov16).

And it appears that Cara, 24, allowed her famous friend to come up with the design, as a photo posted on Instagram by an unidentified fan shows the British star sitting in a tattoo studio while The Rum Diary actress carefully draws on her arm with a pen.

Tattoo artist Dr. Woo, a favourite with celebrities, posted a photo of the completed snake design on Tuesday (08Nov16), which is positioned from the edge of her hand and runs from under her palm down to the knuckle of her middle finger.

Dr. Woo simply captioned the picture with snake emojis and added his trademark black and white filter to the image. Shared with his 1.1 million plus followers, the image attracted generally positive reaction from fans, with nearly 40,000 users liking the snap.

Cara's latest addition to her inkings comes not long after her split with 34-year-old singer St Vincent, who is now dating Twilight star, Kristen Stewart, 26.

But Cara seems to have a shoulder to lean on in the form of Johnny Depp’s ex-wife Amber, who she was also spotted doing some flea market shopping with at the Melrose Trading Post on Sunday (06Nov16).

Cara now has over 20 tattoos including a lion design on her index finger, her initials on her right hand, a stylised diamond on her right ear and an elephant on her right arm.

She also allowed her Suicide Squad co-star Margot Robbie to tattoo smiley faces or "toemoji" on her feet after shooting wrapped on the film earlier this year (16).
