Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden engaged for Christmas - report

Cameron Diaz and Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden have become engaged for Christmas, according to multiple sources.

After weeks of speculation, insiders claim Madden, who previously dated Paris Hilton, popped the question recently after a seven-month romance with the Charlie's Angels star.

One source tells Us Weekly magazine, "Everyone thinks it's wild but are so happy for them. Benji always tends to fall in love easily, but this time it's for real and he landed a great girl."

The actress recently sparked engagement rumors by sporting a prominent gold wedding-style band complete with sparkling diamonds on her ring finger, but she and Madden have yet to confirm the happy news.

Diaz's ex-boyfriends include Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto, baseball superstar Alex Rodriguez and British model Paul Sculfor.

Madden has also romanced Australian model Sophie Monk.
