Country singer Bucky Covington has become a father to a baby girl.
The former American Idol star's publicist fiancee, Katherine Cook, gave birth to little Kennedy Taylor Covington on Friday morning (10Oct14) in Nashville, Tennessee.
His representative tells People.com both mother and baby are "doing
well and resting comfortably" and the first-time father is
"ecstatic" about the new arrival.
The couple became engaged in 2010.
