Bruno Mars' headlining set at the Super Bowl on Sunday (02Feb14) was a big hit - more people tuned in for his performance with the Red Hot Chili Peppers than any other act in the history of the big game's half-time shows.

More than 115 million viewers checked out the Grenade hitmaker's set - a million more than the record set by Madonna in 2012, and almost five million more than Beyonce lured to TV sets last year (13).

The Super Bowl itself had an average viewing audience of 111.5 million viewers, making it the most watched football game in history.
