Bruno Mars' Australian tour derailed by illness

Bruno Mars' tour of Australia has been marred by illness after the star fell sick on the road.

The singer kicked off his Moonshine Jungle dates Down Under last month (Feb14), but he has now been forced to axe his show in Brisbane on Friday (07Mar14) due to a bout of ill health.

A statement posted on the website of the gig venue, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, reads, "Due to illness, Bruno Mars' sold out performance... at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre - Friday March 7 - will not proceed and has been rescheduled to Thursday March 13 at the same venue. All tickets held for tomorrow night's Brisbane show will be valid for the new date without need for exchange."

No details about the Grenade star's health battle have been revealed.

Mars' concert in Sydney on Saturday (08Mar14) was still on track as WENN went to press.
