Brooklyn Decker gets back to nature with trip to Alaska
Brooklyn Decker recently headed to Alaska to experience life in the wilderness in one of the most remote parts of the country.
The Battleship beauty embarked on a week-long trip with the adventure group Sierra Club Outing and visited the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, the largest and wildest refuge in the country.
She also enjoyed white-water rafting and saw the Northern Lights, a
natural light display in the sky, and got back to nature with
caribou, dall sheep and golden eagle sightings in the freezing
Alaskan environment.
And Decker insists the unusual vacation has reminded her just how
important it is to look after the environment: "Getting outdoors
has always been an important part of my life. Going on a Sierra
Club Outing to the Arctic was an enlightening experience and gave
me a chance to reconnect with nature. Anyone who spends time
enjoying our planet knows exactly why it's important to protect
places like the Arctic."
