Britney Spears suffers microphone malfunction onstage

Pop superstar Britney Spears suffered a minor setback during her concert residency in Las Vegas last week (ends07Feb14) when her microphone pack fell loose in the middle of a dance number.

The Toxic hitmaker was performing Stronger when the audio equipment flew off her bejeweled black leotard in the middle of Tuesday's (04Feb14) gig, but Spears proved ever the professional as she continued to show off her choreography for the track.

Spears is no stranger to onstage mishaps at her Planet Hollywood residency - she danced her way through another incident in December (13) when her corset dress started to come undone during a rendition of Circus.

Discussing that costume malfunction last month (Jan14), she said, "The dancers were helping me with the back part of my dress. It was really kind of crazy."
