Britney Spears celebrates birthday at rehearsals

Britney Spears celebrated her 32nd birthday with cake and friends on Monday (02Dec13) as she rehearsed for her upcoming Las Vegas residency.

The pop superstar kicked off her big day by thanking fans for their well wishes and urged them to buy her new album, Britney Jean, which is released on Tuesday (03Dec13).

She took to Twitter.com and posted a photo of herself getting ready to tuck in to birthday cake with her band and dancers at the rehearsal space where she is preparing her Sin City show, which begins later this month (Dec13).

She tweeted, "Amazing birthday surprise from my extended family."
