Britney Spears adds hint of coffee to new fragrance
Britney Spears insisted on adding "a coffee note" to her 20th scent, because that's her go-to drink as she prepares for her energetic stage show in Las Vegas.
The pop superstar announced her latest fragrance, Private Show, last month (Jun16), calling it "unique and special" and now she's revealing more about what fans can expect.
"(There's a) coffee note because iced coffee is my go-to drink
before a long day of rehearsals," Britney tells People.
Spears recently released a new online ad for the fragrance,
featuring her first new song since dropping Pretty Girls with Iggy
Azalea last summer (15). In the accompanying video, she shows off
her dance moves onstage before her black ensemble is magically
transformed into a sparkly white outfit.
The Toxic singer, 34, launched her first fragrance, Curious, in
2004, and followed that up with Fantasy in 2005.
Curious remains the big hit of her 20 scents, selling over 500
million bottles.
Meanwhile, Britney also tells People her biggest beauty splurge is
"a facial", adding, "I love a great Oxygen facial." And she can't
give up guilty pleasure foods like "dark chocolate & sea salt candy
bars" and crawfish, explaining, "It reminds me of home (in
Louisiana).
Spears loves cooking for her sons, confessing she cooks up tacos
because "They are just simple, fun and they love them."
She also opens up about her penchant for posting revealing bikini
and swimsuit shots online, explaining she's often poolside when she
gets the urge to take a selfie, adding, "I'm a lover of water."
