Brandy's new single leaks online

Brandy is the latest star to be targeted by bootleggers after her new single leaked online.

The finished version of Silent Night has been made available on the internet ahead of the release of Brandy's upcoming sixth studio album.

But the star isn't upset by the unauthorised leak - she even gave fans a link to the track on YouTube.com.

In a series of posts on Twitter.com, she writes, "I know I'm late but was Silent Night leaked?? Lord have mercy!!! Can't keep a record in the cut! I'm glad tho (though), cuz I'm taking 4ever (forever)!

"Now y'all know I don't toot my own horn, but a b*tch SLAYED silent night. cocky moment!! (I) promise after this tweet, I'm back to eating my humble pie!! Enjoy!"

Pop superstar Madonna and rapper Drake have also had new material leaked online in recent weeks.
