Lady Gaga's ex-mentor sued by lawyers
Lady Gaga's former mentor Rob Fusari has been hit with a lawsuit from his attorneys for allegedly failing to pay his legal fees.
Lawyers from Meloni & McCaffrey claim they represented the music producer in his battle against the Poker Face star but were dropped shortly before Fusari and Gaga reached a settlement.
In legal papers filed in Manhattan and obtained by the New York
Post, Fusari is accused of paying just $15,000 of his $47,000
bill.
Fusari sued Gaga for $30 million last year (10), alleging he came
up with her stage name and co-wrote her early hits. The singer
fired back with a countersuit, claiming he forced her into an
"unlawful arrangement".
The two songwriters, who were said to have once dated, settled the
matter in September last year (10).
