Bobbi Kristina Brown: 'Marriage to Nick Gordon is exactly what my mother wanted'
Bobbi Kristina Brown has confirmed reports suggesting she has tied the knot with her 'adopted' brother Nick Gordon, insisting the marriage is exactly what her late mum Whitney Houston would have wanted.
The 20 year old announced her engagement to Gordon in July (13), and on Thursday (09Jan14), she sparked rumours that she had wed by posting photos of what appeared to be the couple's wedding rings on Twitter.com.
And now Brown has finally opened up about their surprise nuptials,
telling TMZ.com that the marriage would have been her late mum's
dream come true.
Brown divulges, "I would tear up, this is exactly what she wanted,
us together."
The duo would not reveal any details about the nuptials, but did
say Brown's grandmother, Cissy Houston, gave her blessing for the
two to go ahead and exchange vows after initially disagreeing with
their plans to be together.
And although they are staying mum on their intimate wedding, Brown
reveals they are planning a bigger ceremony for their family and
friends in 2015.
She added, "What we can tell you is that next year (15) the
ceremony will be beautiful."
Gordon was informally adopted by Houston when her daughter with
R&B star Bobby Brown was 12, but the pair grew close and became
romantically involved following the superstar's death in 2012.
